Ally Legal Planning is excited to announce that the founder of Walsh & Company, Jim Walsh, has joined our team as Senior Attorney.

Jim has over 35 years of legal experience practicing in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, tax, probate and business law. A former CPA of more than 30 years, Jim offers his clients a uniquely tax-driven business approach to legal matters and has set legal precedents, including Pfeufer v. Cyphers (Md. Ct. App. 2007). Jim is admitted to the Maryland State Bar and the U.S. Tax Court while also serving his community through leadership roles on the Howard County Board of Appeals and previously on the Howard County Charter Review Commission.

As Jim begins planning for retirement over the next three years, this partnership marks the beginning of a thoughtful and seamless transition. During this period Jim will continue to serve clients with the same level of care and attention while working closely with the attorneys at Ally Legal Planning to ensure a smooth handoff of client relationships and case matters when he is ready to retire.
